Well the day is finally here and it's time to leave for the 16 day adventure to Germany and Switzerland. We started our journey bright and early by departing from the Kansas City Airport at 8:20am with a pitstop in Atlanta and then on to Frankfurt, Germany. Since our flight is so early we needed to arrive at the airport at 6:30am, meaning we left Jonathan's house at 5:30am! Not so bad but I don't think we went to bed until after 2am after the Eric Church concert... Eek! Hopefully this will help with sleeping on the plane... We shall see!

We had a 4 hour layover in Atlanta, which gave me plenty of time to grab lunch, call my Mom and make fun of Sarah for bringing along the neon-orange fanny pack. She's going to make a fabulous tourist! After the anticipation of waiting to leave, we finally boarded and were on our way! See you in the morning Germany, K-State is coming to town!!
